REQUEST FOR EXPRESSION OF INTEREST FOR CONSTRUCTION AND GOODS
1.0 INTRODUCTION
The Lagos Island Local Government is among other things statutorily responsible for Construction, Public Buildings, Provision of amenities for the benefit of the citizens.
2.0 BID SECURITY
Bid security 1% of bid price through National Competitive Building (NCB) in line with the Lagos State Public Procurement Law 20021 as amended and guidelines.

3.0 QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS/ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA
Interested and competent contractor and service provider wishing to carry out the services as described above will be required to submit the following documents:
(1) Evidence of Registration with the Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC) with the inclusion of Certificate of Incorporation and Article of Association.
(2) Current Company Tax Clearance Certificate corresponding with the company annual turnover for three years 2022, 2023 & 2024.
(3) Possession of experience as a Prime Contractor in at least two (2) Construction Services and supplies of Goods of similar nature and complexity with verifiable letters of engagement and certificates of completion within the last five (5) years.
(4) Detailed Company profile and Organization structure including names and telephone numbers of key personnel (Technical/Managerial).
(5) Evidence of financial capability (Reference letter from reputable bank).
(6) Copies of VAT Registration with TIN number and evidence of VAT remittances for the last 3 years.
(7) Evidence of 3 years development levy for two directors.
(8) Evidence of registration as a Contractor with the Lagos Island Local Government.
(9) Sworn Affidavit confirming that all documents submitted are authentic.
(10) All copies of all the documents to be submitted shall be signed by the person duly authorized to sign on behalf of the contractor.
4.0 NOTE:
i. Submission must be accompanied by a cover letter duly signed by the company’s authorized signatory indicating the Lot/Lots which the contractors is interested in.
ii. Interested contractors must note that Lagos Island Local Government reserves the right to verify claims made in the documents submitted by them.
iii. The Lagos Island Local Government shall deal directly with only the authorized officers of interested contractor and not with their agents.
iv. The Lagos Island Local Government will not be responsible for any cost or expenses incurred by any interested party(ies) in connection with responses to this invitation.
v. Participation in this exercise shall not be construed as a commitment on the part of the Lagos Island Local Government to award any contract.
vi. Interested eligible contractor may obtain further information at the Lagos Island Local Government Procurement Unit.
5.0 SUBMISSION OF EXPRESSION OF INTEREST:
ALL BIDS MUST BE HAND DELIVERY ON OR BEFORE 12:00 Hours on Thursday, March 6th, 2025. At the office of the procurement Unit Lagos Island Local Government.
6.0 Bids will be opened on Thursday, March 6th, 2025 at the Lagos Island Local Government Secretariat Hall.
7.0 NOTE:
1. BIDDERS WILL BE ISSUED Bidding Documents upon Payment of Non-refundable Fee sum of N1000,000.00 for Works and N50,000.00 For Goods on any specific project of interest, copy of receipt of payments for the bidding document should be attached.
2. Bid security as specified above should be provided.
3. Additional details that would aid processing shall be provided in the bidding document.
