SUPPLY AND INSTALLATION OF TWO (2NOS) 1.5 TELSA CAPACITY MAGNET IMAGING RESONANCE EQUIPMENT AND ACCESSORIES AT EBONYI STATE UNIVERSITY TEACHING HOSPITAL ABAKALIKI AND GENERAL HOSPITAL NWOFE AGBAJA IN IZZI LGA OF EBONYI STATE OF NIGERIA

INTRODUCTION:
The Federal Government of Nigeria, on behalf of the Ebonyi State Government has received a Credit from the World Bank towards the cost of improving the utilization and quality of immunization plus and malaria services in selected states of the federation and intends to apply part of the proceeds towards the payments for the Supply and Installation of Two (2) numbers of 1.5 Telsa Capacity Magnet Resonance Imaging (MRI) Medical Equipment in selected Health facilities in Ebonyi State.

The Ebonyi Sates Government, through the Project Implementation Unit of Immunization Plus and Malaria Progress by Accelerating Coverage and Transforming Services (IMPACT) Project now invites sealed bids from eligible bidders for the Supply and Installation of the Equipment as detailed below.

BIDDING PROCEDURES:
Bidding will be conducted through the National Competitive Bidding (NCB) procedures as specified in the World Bank’s Procurement Regulations for IPF Borrowers 2020 (“Procurement Regulation”) and is open to all eligible bidders as defined in the Procurement Regulation. In addition, please refer to paragraphs 3.14 to 3.17 in the “Procurement Regulation” on the Conflict of Interest.

PAYMENT FOR BIDDING DOCUMENTS:
A complete set of bidding documents in English Language may be purchased by interested eligible bidders upon the submission of a written application to the address below and upon payment of a non-refundable fee of One Hundred and Fifty Thousand Naira (N150,000.00) for the purchase of the set of the bidding documents. The method of payment will be by Bank Draft issued in favour of Ebonyi State IMPACT Counterpart Fund account no. 1225143840 Zenith Bank. A copy of the Bidding Document can be sent to the bidder upon request through a Courier Firm at the service cost to the bidder.

BIDS SUBMISSION AND OPENING:
Bids must be delivered to the Address below on or before 12:00 noon on the 27th March 2025. Electronic bidding will not be permitted. Late bids will be rejected. Bids will be publicly opened in the presence of the Bidders’ designated representatives and anyone who choose to attend at the address below by 12:00 noon on the 27th March 2025.
