PRE-QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS
Interested tenders are hereby notified that all pre-qualifications bids are to be examined based on the provision of the following,
(a) Evidence of company incorporation with Corporate Affairs Commission.
(b) Evidence of registration with Ebonyi SUBEB as contractor.
(c) Evidence of current Tax clearance for the last three (3) years.
(d) Evidence of registration with Ebonyi State Government as a contractor.
(e) Evidence of Technical Personnel.
(f) Evidence of Bank Reference Letter.
(g) Evidence of similar job carried out and completed by the company within last four (4) years.
(h) Evidence of company audited account for three (3) years.
(i) Evidence of PENCON certificate.
(j) Evidence of registration with Bureau on Public Procurement (BBP).
(k) Affidavit disclosing that no Director has been convicted in any court for any criminal offence relating to fraud or financial impropriety, criminal misrepresentation or falsifications of facts relating to any matter.
(l) Evidence of company registration and compliance with Industrial Training Fund (ITF).
Bidders are advised to adhere strictly to the above requirements in their own interest.
2. The Board reserves the right to accept or reject any tender pre-qualification bid documents which do not comply with stipulated guidelines/ tenets of due process.
TENDER PROCEDURE
Pre-qualified bidders are required to pay a non-refundable fee of 20,000 (Twenty Thousand Naira only) to the state consolidated IGR Accounts with Sterling Bank Ogoja road branch Abakaliki and collect receipt from the Board’s cash office on presentation of bank paying teller.
Bidding documents can be collected by pre-qualified companies from PPWM Department, SUBEB Ebonyi state between the hours of 0800 – 1600 Monday to Friday from 4th September, 2025.
DEADLINE FOR SUBMISSION OF BID DOCUMENTS
Pre-qualifications documents must be enclosed in sealed envelope marked lot(s) No of “year 2024, Universal Basic Education Board intervention project” and submitted to the office of Head of Department: Physical Planning, Works and Maintenance, Ebonyi state Universal Basic Education Board, Abakaliki not later than three (3) weeks from the date of this publication.

Note: Successful firms will pay VAT and Withholding Tax to Federal Government and 1% Educational Development Trust Fund levy and youth empowerment levy to Ebonyi State Government.
