NIGERIAN EDUCATIONAL RESEARCH AND DEVELOPMENT COUNCIL (NERDC) SHEDA – ABUJA INVITATION FOR TENDER
1.0 INTRODUCTION
The Nigerian Educational Research and Development Council (NERDC) Sheda, Abuja was established in 1988 by an enabling Decree No 53 (Now Act No 53) which merged four Educational Research and Development bodies into one organization.
1.2 In line with its mandate, the Council intends to carry out procurement of goods under the 2024 Appropriation and Zonal Intervention Projects of the Federal Government of Nigeria. Therefore, in compliance with the Public Procurement Act 2007, the Council invites experienced and competent contractors/suppliers to submit bids for the procurement of goods as listed below:

2.0 SCOPE OF SUPPLIES:

Supply of SUV CS35 PLUS 1.8 L, 4- speed Automatic Transmission, Front CD Loader, Alloy Wheels, Airbags, Fabrics Seats, Fog Lamps, Anti- Lock Braking System, Multifunctional Steering wheel, Color Coded Side Mirrors, Power Steering, Power Windows, Air Conditioner, High Mount Stop Light.
ZONAL INTERVENTION PROJECT
3.0 SCOPE OF SUPPLIES:
Provision of Educational Material for Selected Schools in Agege Federal Constituency • Customized 60 leaves exercise notebook • Customized 40 leaves exercise notebook • Customized 20 leaves exercise notebook • Mathematical Set • Biros
4.0 ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS:
a. Evidence of Certificate of Incorporation issued by the Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC) including Form CAC1 or CAC 2 and CAC 7.
b. Evidence of Company Income Tax Clearance Certificate for the last three (3) years (2022, 2023 & 2024) valid till 31st December, 2025.
c. Evidence of current Pension Clearance Certificate valid till 31st December, 2025.
d. Evidence of current Industrial Training Fund (ITF) Compliance Certificate valid till 31st December, 2025.
e. Evidence of current Nigeria Social Insurance Trust Fund (NSTIF) Clearance Certificate valid till 31st December, 2025.
f. Evidence of Registration on the National Database of Federal Contractors, Consultants and Service Providers by submission of Interim Registration Report (IRR) valid till 31st December, 2025 or valid Certificate issued by BPP.
g. Evidence of similar works done in the past three (3) years, copies of letters of award, certificate of completion and any other relevant information.
h. Company’s Audited accounts for the last three (3) years 2022, 2023 & 2024.
i. Evidence of financial capability to execute the project by submission of reference letter from a reputable commercial bank in Nigeria indicating the willingness to provide credit facility for the execution of the project when needed.
j. Company’s profile with the Curriculum Vitae of key staff to be deployed for the project, including copies of their academic qualifications.
k. Evidence of Registration with relevant regulatory professional body(ies)
5.0 SUBMISSION PROCEDURE
Interested contractors/bidders are to submit two (2) bound copies of both technical and financial bid documents separated by dividers and arranged as indicated above. The documents should be submitted in a sealed envelope and addressed to the Executive Secretary, NERDC, Sheda, Km 135, Lokoja – Kaduna Express Way, Sheda, Kwali Area Council on or before 26th September, 2025 at 12.00 noon.
Bid Opening will take place on the same day 26th September,2025 at 12.00 noon at NERDC Conference Centre Hall, Km 135, Lokoja – Kaduna Express way, Sheda under Kwali Area Council. You are required to attached evidence of payment of non – refundable tender fee of N10,000.00 paid into NERDC remitta account.
5.0 GENERAL INFORMATION:
a. Bids must be in English Language and signed by an Official authorized by bidder;
b. Bids submitted after the deadline for submission would be returned unopened;
c. All cost will be borne by the bidders;
d. NERDC reserves the right to verify claims by any bidders;
e. NERDC is not obliged to award contract to the lowest cost bidder
f. The Technical Bids will be opened in the presence of bidders or their representatives
g. NERDC is not bound to pre–qualify any bidder and reserves the right to annul the procurement process at any time without incurring any liabilities in accordance with section 28 of the Public Procurement Act, 2007.
