1. The Federal Government of Nigeria (FGN) (hereinafter called “Borrower”) has received financing from the International Development Association (IDA) (the “Bank”) in the form of a “credit” (hereinafter called “credit” toward the cost of the Livestock Productivity and Resilience Support Project (L-PRES), Ekiti State Coordination Office (SCO), Ado-Ekiti intends to apply part of the proceeds of this credit to eligible payments under the contract for the Supply & Installation of Equipment at Ultra-Modern Abattoir along EKSU/Iworoko Road, Ado-Ekiti, Ekiti State and upon approval by the Bank, and will be subject, in all respects, to the terms and conditions of the financing agreement.
2. The Ekiti Livestock Productivity and Resilience Support – State Coordination Office, Ado-Ekiti now invites sealed Bids from eligible Bidders for: The Supply & Installation of Equipment at Ultra-Modern Abattoir along EKSU/Iworoko Road, Ado-Ekiti, Ekiti State with a completion period of 6 months. The margin of preference shall not be allowed.
3. Bidding will be conducted through Open National Procurement using Request for Bids (RFB) as specified in the World Bank’s Procurement Regulations for IPF Borrowers- Procurement in Investment Projects Financing, Revised Edition of February 2025 (“Procurement Regulations”), address available on www.worldbank.org/procure and is open to all eligible Bidders as defined in the Procurement Regulations.
4. Interested eligible Bidders may obtain further information from the State Project Coordinating Office – Livestock Productivity and Resilience Support Project (L-PRES), ADP Compound, AgricOlope Road, Ado-Ekiti, Ekiti State, Nigeria and inspect the Bidding document during office hours 9:00 am to 4:00 pm (local time) at the address given below.
5. The Bidding document in English may be purchased by interested eligible Bidders upon the submission of a written application to the address below and upon payment of a non refundable fee of Sixty Thousand Naira (NGN60,000.00) only. The method of payment will be by bank draft or direct transfer in favour of the following account: 1310047619 Zenith Bank Acct Name: L-PRES Bidding Account. Proof of payment to be presented at the address below. At the bidder’s request, the documents could also be sent by courier after paying an additional fee to cover the delivery cost.
6. Bids must be delivered to the address below on or before 12 noon on Tuesday 31st March, 2026. Electronic bidding will not be permitted. Late Bids will be rejected. Bids will be publicly opened in the presence of the Bidders’ designated representatives and anyone who chooses to attend at the address below by 12 noon on the 31st March, 2026.
7. All Bids must be accompanied by a “Bid Security” of 2.5% of bid price.
8. Attention drawn to the Procurement Regulations requiring the Borrower to disclose information on the successful bidder’s beneficial ownership, as part of the Contract Award Notice, using the Beneficial Ownership Disclosure Form as included in the bidding document.
