REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL FOR GROUP LIFE AND PERSONAL ACCIDENT INSURANCE BROKERAGE

1. BACKGROUND
Achieving Health Nigeria Initiative (AHNi) is one of the leading national non-governmental organizations with a vision to promote a healthy and safe society where everyone thrives. AHNi is hereby seeking the services of a registered and eligible insurance brokerage firm to manage a group life and personal accident coverage and related services for AHNi

2. SCOPE OF WORK(SoW):

  1. MINIMUM ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS:
NO RFPREQUIREMENT
1. company profile: registered address(s), official/functional emails, telephone numbers and point of contact for the company
2. evidence of legal registration document of the company (CAC registration, FORM CO2 and FORM CO7) or registration of Business Name or any other equivalent valid document from CAC
3. latest Tax clearance Certificate (Please note that we will scan QR Code on your TCC to validate authenticity) not earlier than 2022
4. Evidence of Financial Capability (a copy of most recent and signed audited report) not earlier than 2022
5. Bank Reference Letter duly addressed to AHNi Procurement Committee
6. Valid certificate of Registration with National Insurance Commission (NAICOM)
7. Valid Certificate of Registration with the Nigerian Council of Registered Insurance Brokers (NCRIB)
8. Evidence of provision of insurance brokerage for reputable organizations preferable NGOs of similar scope and complexity within the last 2years. An interested insurance broker must provide copies of signed contracts for group life coverage and a list of at least five (5) contact details for independent references.
9. Provide a letter of partnership with at least 3 most viable and approved insurance companies willing to accept placement of this Group Life and Personal Accident policy if you are selected.
10. Provide detailed financial viability and performance track records of the proposed insurers.

EVALUATION AND SELECTION CRITERIA:

The service provider must ensure that all requested information above in included in the submission. Proposals will be evaluated as followed:

5. SUBMISSION PROCURE AND INSTRUCTIONS:
Submit Technical Documentation with a (Criteria 1-10) cover letter in a sealed envelope. Your submission must be appropriately titled, addressed and submitted to:

 AHNi is Value-Added Tax (VAT) exempt but deducts withholding tax (WHT) in compliance with relevant Nigerian Tax Laws.
 Only prequalified bidders will be contracted for Financial Proposal
 The duration of the contract is 12 months from the date of commencement and subject to renewal

7. CLOSING DATE:
All completed proposal documentation must be hand delivered or couriered to the above address on or before Thursday, October 24th 2024, at 5:00pm GMT.
