INVITATION FOR BIDS – INTERNATIONAL COMPETITIVE BIDDING (ICB)
1. INTRODUCTION
The Women’s Board – Educational Cooperation Society (WB-ECS), whose head office is located at 75, Adisa Bashua Street, Surulere, Lagos, has received a grant from the African Union Development Agency (AUDA-NEPAD) with financing from the German Government through KfW in the form of a financial contribution for the implementation of the Wavecrest Hospitality Skills and Enterprise Development Centre of Excellence (WAVECREST-HSEDCE). Part of the funds are designated for the procurement of hospitality training equipment for the Wavecrest Hospitality Skills and Enterprise Development Centre of Excellence.
WB-ECS hereby invites eligible and qualified bidders to submit sealed bids for the Supply, Installation and Commissioning of Hospitality Training Equipment.
2. SCOPE OF WORK
The contract covers the supply, installation, and commissioning of a wide range of hospitality training equipment (small and large) to be used in kitchen production, demonstration kitchen, bakery, laundry, housekeeping, restaurant, food service, and bartending. The full list of required items is available in the bidding document under Section VI – Schedule of Requirements.
3. ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS
Prospective bidders are required to submit the following documents or meet the criteria listed below.
Note: This list is not exhaustive. The full Invitation for Bids (IFB) pack contains all detailed qualifications and submission requirements.
i. Evidence of legal registration and business operation in the country of origin.
ii. Proven track record of successfully executed supply contracts of similar nature and complexity in the last 5 years.
iii. Evidence of financial capacity to perform the contract.
iv. Compliance with tax and social security obligations.
v. Absence of conflict of interest, debarment, or ineligibility by multilateral development institutions.
vi. Not subject to legal or financial sanctions relating to money laundering, terrorism, trafficking, or related crimes.
All bids must be accompanied by a Bid Security of €21,000, issued by a reputable financial institution.
4. SUBMISSION OF TENDER DOCUMENTS
The bidding process shall follow a one-envelope procedure. The bidder shall enclose the original and all copies of the bid in a sealed envelope, duly marking the envelopes as “Original” and “Copy” and shall be submitted on or before 2:00 PM (WAT) on 22nd July 2025 to:

All bids should be submitted at the front desk where they shall be received in the tender box and a timed receipt of acceptance issued.
Late submissions will be rejected and returned unopened.
5. OPENING OF TENDER DOCUMENTS
Bids will be opened in the presence of representatives of Bidders who wish to be present at the opening, on 22nd July 2025 at 2:15pm at 75, Adisa Bashua Street, Surulere, Lagos.
Bids must remain valid for a period of 120 days from the day following the deadline of receipt of bids.

7. NOTES
i. Following the completion and submission of the registration form, available from the same address mentioned in point 6 above, Bidders will be sent the link to download the tender documents, free of charge.
ii. Bidders are advised to read this notice and the Invitation for bid (IFB) pack carefully, as failure to follow instructions or to submit complete documents may lead to rejection or disqualification of the Bid.
iii. All relevant information about the tender process and project are contained in the IFB pack.
