The Federal Republic of Nigeria has received financing from the World Bank toward the cost of the agro-climatic resilience in semi-arid landscapes (ACReSAL) project and intends to apply part of the proceeds toward payments under the contract for bulbula/gayawa erosion control sites in Nasarrawa/ungogo LGAS Kano state.

1. The state project management unit (SPMU) of the Kano State Ministry of environment and climate change now invites sealed bids from eligible bidders for the bulbula/gayawa erosion control sites in Nassarawa/ungogo LGAs Kano state. Detailed qualification requirements are contained in the bidding documents.

2. Bidding will be conducted through the national competitive procurement using a request for bids (RFB) as specified in the world bank’s “procurement regulations for IPF borrowers” procurement in investment project financing fifth edition, September 2023 (“procurement regulations”) and is open to all bidders as defined in the procurement regulations

3. Interested eligible bidders may obtain further information from the SPMU via the e-mail address below and inspect the bidding documents during office hours from 9:00am to 5:00pm local time at the address given below

4. The bidding documents in English language may be purchased by interested eligible bidders upon the submission of a written application to the address below and upon payment of a non-refundable fee of fifty thousand naira (NGN50, 000.00). The method of payment will be bank draft in favor of the ACReSAL Kano or through direct payment into the following bank account; Kano ACReSAL counterpart fund account 1219362741, zenith bank and send the payment evidence to the email address below. The bidding document will be collected at the address below.

5. Bids must be delivered to the address below on or before 12:00 noon on Monday 23rd December, 2024. Electronic bidding will not be permitted. Late bids submission will be rejected. Bids will be opened in the presence of the bidder’s designated representatives and anyone who chooses to attend in person at the address below at 12:00 noon local time on Monday 23rd December, 2024.

6. All bids must be accompanied by a bid security of NGN300,000,000
