INVITATION FOR TECHNICAL AND FINANCIAL BIDS FOR THE EXECUTION OF PROJECTS UNDER YEAR 2025 TETFUND INSTITUTION BASED SKILLS DEVELOPMENT INTERVENTION
1.0 INTRODUCTION
In compliance with the Public Procurement Act 2007, The Federal Polytechnic, Bida, Niger State wishes to invite interested, competent, reputable and qualified Contractors/Firms with relevant experiences and good track record of accomplishment of similar project to submit their technical and financial documents for the execution of YEARS 2025 TETFUND INSTITUTION-BASED SKILLS DEVELOPMENT INTERVENTION Project:
3.0 ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS
Prospective bidders must possess the under-listed requirements:- to be eligible in this procurement. Bidders are required to submit only scanned copies in colour (not photocopies) of the documents.
a. Company Profile with contact information (e.g. telephone, fax, email address, website address, etc.)
b. Evidence of registration with Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC), Certificate, CO2, and CO7 as a Limited Liability Company
c. Evidence of Nigeria Insurance Trust Fund (NSITF) certificate expiring 31st December, 2025.
d. Evidence of Industrial Trust Fund (ITF) clearance certificate expiring 31st December, 2025.
e. Evidence of unexpired registration with PENCOM with certificate
f. Evidence of Interim Registration Report (IRR) from BPP valid for 2025.
g. Evidence of unexpired Tax Clearance Certificate for the last three years, 2023, 2024, 2025
h. Evidence of VAT registration and remittances.
i. Sworn court affidavit that the organization is not bankrupt, or any of the directors have been convicted, or are affiliated with the Federal Polytechnic Bida, Niger State or BPP.
j. Company audited account for the last three years duly certified by a registered Auditor.
k. Copy of company profile with the curriculum vitae of the key staff to be deployed on the project, including copies of their relevant academic/professional qualification.
l. Verifiable evidence of financial capability to handle such project from a reputable bank.
m. Verifiable documentary evidence of at least three (3) similar jobs in the last five (5) years including letters of Awards Valuation Certificates, Job Completion Certificates and photograph of the projects;
n. For Joint Venture/Partnership, Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) should be provided (CAC, Tax Clearance Certificate, Pension Compliance Certificate, ITF Compliance Certificate, NSITF Compliance Certificate, IRR &
o. Sworn Affidavit are compulsory for each JV Partner
All documents for submission must be transmitted with a Covering/Forwarding letter under the Company/Firm’s Letter Headed Paper bearing amongst others, the Registration number (RC) as issued by the Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC), Contact Address, Telephone Number (Preferably GSM No.), and Email Address. The Letter headed Paper must bear the Names and Nationalities of the Directors of the Company at the bottom of the page, duly signed by the authorized officer of the firm.
4.0 COLLECTION AND SUBMISSION OF DOCUMENTS
Prospective bidders are to collect unpriced financial bids and they are also, to submit two (2) hard copies of the technical and priced financial bids, each in a separate sealed envelope and together in another sealed envelope clearly marked with the Lot number and project. The envelope should be addressed to Director, Directorate of Procurement, Federal Polytechnic Bida, Niger State”. Bidders are required to submit their documents at Room 12, DEED Complex, Federal Polytechnic, P.M.B 55 Bida, Niger State on or before Monday, 8th December, 2025.
5.0 CLOSING DATE AND OPENING
Submission of documents will close at 12.00 noon on Monday,8th December, 2025. The submitted documents will be opened at 12.00pm on the closing day at the Polytechnic Council Chamber. Representatives of the Tenderers, Professional Bodies, NGOs and interested members of the general public are hereby invited to witness the opening exercise.
6.0 PLEASE NOTE
a. Late submission will be rejected
b. False claims and Failure to comply with the instructions above or to provide the listed documents, may automatically lead to disqualification.
c. Nothing in this advertisement shall be construed to be a commitment on the part of Federal Polytechnic, Bida to undertake the project, or entitled bidders to make any claim (s) whatsoever in respect of expenses incurred in preparing a response.
d. Only technical qualified companies will be allowed to participate in the financial bids. Rejected Technical bids shall have their financial bids returned to them unopened.
e. All CAC, PENCOM, ITF, TAX, BPP, FIRS Certificates and/or letters may be referred to the security Agencies, and other relevant bodies for verification.
f. Documents can only be submitted during working hours of 8.00am to 4.00pm.
g. Qualification document should be arranged in the order as listed in 3.0 above.
