INVITATION FOR PRE-QUALIFICATION TO TENDER
1. PREAMBLE
The Gombe State Universal Basic Education Board (GM-SUBEB) hereby invites pre-qualification documents from reputable contractors with relevant working experience for the execution of its year 2022 UBEC/SUBEB Intervention projects.
2. SCOPE OF THE WORK
a. Construction of classroom blocks and offices in Basics Schools.
b. Renovations of dilapidated classroom blocks across the 11 LGAs of the state.
c. Drilling of water boreholes
d. Procurement of pupils/teacher and other furniture to Basic schools
3. ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS
i. Evidence of incorporation/Registration with Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC)
ii. Copy of current Tax Clearance Certificate for the past three (3) years valid till 31st December, 2023
iii. Evidence of Pension Clearance Certificate valid till 31st December, 2023
iv. Evidence of Industrial Training Fund (ITF) certificate of compliance valid till 31st December, 2023.
v. Evidence of ECS Clearance certificate from National Social Insurance Trust Fund (NSITF) valid till 31st December, 2023.
vi. Evidence of registration in the National database of Bureau of Public Procurement (BPP) valid till 31st December, 2023
vii. Evidence of financial capability and/or Banking support
viii. Verifiable evidence of previous experience in execution of similar projects.
ix. Evidence of registration with Gombe State Government as a contractor at the appropriate category valid till 31st December, 2023
x. Evidence of registration as a contractor with Gombe SUBEB valid till 31st December, 2023 and
xi. Sworn affidavit confirming the following:
a. That no staff of Gombe State Universal Basic Education Board is a Director of the company.
b. That neither the company nor any its Directors is bankrupt or in receivership; and
c. That none of the Directors have been convicted in any law court for any criminal offence.
The documents should be arranged in the order listed above.
4. SUBMISSION DOCUMENTS
The completed Pre-qualification documents are to be submitted in two (2) hard copies sealed in an envelope and submitted to the above address not later than two weeks from the date of this publication.
5. NOTE
i. The Board may verify any or all claims made by bidders and shall disqualify any company whose claims are found to be false in addition to other sanctions that may be deemed necessary; and
ii. Only companies that met the above mentioned pre-qualification requirements may be invited to participate in the financial tendering process
