IKORODU LOCAL GOVERNMENT
INVITATION FOR PRE-QUALIFICATION/REQUEST FOR EXPRESSION OF INTEREST.
1.0 INTRODUCTION:
Ikorodu Local Government in pursuance of its mandate and themes plus agenda of Mr. Babajide Olusola Sanwoolu, and the Executive Chairman of Ikorodu Local Government, Prince Abdullateef Adedayo Ladega’s property for all, also in compliance with the Lagos State Public Procurement Law 2021 as amended and in tandem with 2026 capital budgetary provision of the Local Government.
Tenders are hereby invited from reputable and qualified/contractors duly registered with the Lagos State Public Procurement Agency and Ikorodu Local Government for the execution of the highlighted projects below.
2.0 PRE-QUALIFICATION AREAS
A. WORKS
LOT1: 26 Solar-powered boreholes for various communities in Ikorodu Local Government.
LOT2: Construction of 9 blocks of classrooms, staff room and library section.
LOT3: Asphalt laying and Rehabilitation of Ashiru Raji street
LOT4: Asphalt laying and Rehabilitation of OLUYE STREET
LOT5: Asphalt laying and Rehabilitation of OJUGBO STREET
LOT6: Drainage construction at BOROKINI DADA
LOT7: Procurement of 500kva electrical transformer for the use of Imede street and adjoining communities.
LOT8: Renovation of 55 toilets in the council Secretariat and area offices.
LOT9: 200 units of solar streets light.
B. SERVICES:
Lot 1: Provision of Internet Infrastructure to the Local Government Secretariat
3.0 QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENT:
The Expression of Interest must be submitted in the following order:
(A) Cover letter duly signed by the company’s authorized signatory indicating the specific area(s) of specialization.
(B) Certificate of Incorporation/Registration with Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC).
(C) Copy of Company’s articles/memorandum of Association (not applicable to business name).
(D) Company profile and organization structure with the CV of key personnel with professional certificates.
(E) Evidence of financial capability (reference letter from reputable bank capable and willing to provide line of credit for project execution, if required).
(F) Current Tax Clearance Certificate of the company and two directors for the last three years (2023, 2024, 2025).
(H) Possession of experience as a prime contractor in at least 2 projects of similar nature and complexity with verifiable letters of contract of Award and certificate of job completion within the last (5) years.
(I) Exact verifiable location and full address/contact telephone numbers and email address of authorized representative.
(J) Evidence of Technical Partnership (manufacturers authorization where necessary).
(K) In case of joint venture, the company shall provide evidence of the joint venture agreement executed by all parties in the joint ventures.
(L) Evidence of company registration/renewal with Ikorodu Local Government
(M) Any additional information that may enhance your future consideration.
4.0 NOTE:
(i) Pre-qualification, submission should be very clear about the area(s) of competence and interest.
(ii) Submission must be submitted in English Language in four (4) copies (one original and three copies) sealed in an envelope clearly marked submission of pre-qualification documents for works.
(iii) Interested must note that Ikorodu Local Government reserves the right to verify claims made in the pre-qualification documents submitted by them.
(iv) Ikorodu Local Government shall deal directly with only the authorized officers of interested companies and not with their agents.
(v) The Pre-qualification exercise shall not be construed as a commitment on the part of Ikorodu Local Government to award any contract.
(vi) Ikorodu Local Government will not be responsible for any cost or expenses incurred by any interested party (ies) in connection with responses to this invitation.
(vii) Interested eligible applicants may obtain further information at the procurement office, Ikorodu Local Government, T.O.S. Benson Road, Ikorodu, Lagos State.
(viii) Non-refundable fee of =N=25,000 (Twenty Five Thousand Naira) for bidding document.
5.0 SUBMISSION OF BIDDING DOCUMENT:
Application must be enclosed in sealed envelop as indicated in Note (ii) above and addressed to the Executive Chairman, Ikorodu Local Government and submitted to Procurement Unit between 9am to 3.00 pm not later than Seven (7) days from the date of this notice. Bid closes on 23rd March, 2026.
