About JDPI Maiduguri
Justice Development and Peace Initiative in Maiduguri Diocese (JDPI Maiduguri), formerly known as JDPC, is a faith-based humanitarian organization that has been operating in Borno State, Yobe State, and parts of Adamawa State for over 50 years. The organization is engaged in development and humanitarian interventions focused on Water, Sanitation, and Hygiene (WASH), Peacebuilding, Livelihoods, Mental Health and Psychosocial Support (MHPSS), Health, Nutrition, and other emergency response programmes.
JDPI Maiduguri supports vulnerable communities, especially those affected by conflict, on the basis of need, without discrimination on grounds of creed, ethnicity, or nationality. The organization works to promote dignity, resilience, and social justice.
Our Approach
JDPI Maiduguri is inviting Agric-related companies registered with the Nigeria Seed Council to supply Seeds and other farm inputs in line with procurement best practices.
This RFQ is categorized into two lots. Lot 1 is strictly for seed companies, while Lot 2 is for agriculture-related companies.

Eligibility and Submission Requirements
Interested suppliers and service providers must be duly registered under the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria as members of the Nigeria Seed Council (For seed) and Agric-related for Farm inputs Applications must be submitted electronically only to: procurement@jdpcmaiduguri.org
Required Documents
- Certificate of Incorporation / CAC Status Report
- Memorandum and Articles of Association
- Company profile (including key personnel qualifications and experience, physical address, phone numbers, and email address)
- Evidence of previous experience with NGOs or government (award letters, purchase orders, contracts, completion certificates, or delivery notes)
- The company must be a registered member with the Nigeria Seed Council (Lot 1 for Seed companies only)
- SCUML certificate (or proof of exemption)
- Valid means of identification (either NIN, Driver’s License) for company directors/shareholders
Bank reference letter and Company bank account details - Catalog of products, their characteristics, and prices
- Price validity: The unit price specified should be valid for a minimum period of three (3) months.
- Lead Time 10 working days
- Evidence of current tax clearance for 2026
- Acceptance of JDPI Maiduguri payment terms; 100% payment to be made within 30 days after delivery, and a counter signature of the goods received note confirming acceptance
- Quotation must be submitted on the company’s letterhead, with date of quotation, signature, and stamp of a legally authorized signatory
Evaluation Criteria
Applications will be assessed based on: – Completeness of submitted documentation – Relevant experience in Agricultural inputs
Applicants are advised to submit only the documents requested.
Important Notes
Hard copy submissions will not be accepted
Failure to clearly indicate the item applied for may result in disqualification
Any falsification or forgery of documents will lead to immediate disqualification
Prospective companies are requested to submit their Expressions of Interest by email to procurement@jdpcmaiduguri.org
The Reference Number RFQ must be used as the subject line of the email.
Submissions must be received on or before 11:59 p.m. on 6th May, 2026.
Any submission received after the deadline will not be considered
