INVITATION FOR TENDER FOR 3RD AND 4TH QUARTERS OF YEAR 2024 UNIVERSAL BASIC
EDUCATION INTERVENTION FGN/UBEC/SUBEB/PROJECTS.
I. Introduction:
The Kwara State Government through Kwara State Universal Basic Education Board (KWSUBEB) has received approval to implement the 3rd and 4th Quarters of year 2024 FGN/UBEC/SUBEB Projects.
2. In compliance with Public Procurement Act 2017 the Board wishes to invite interested, registered, competent, capable and reputable contractors to submit their tender documents and maintaining the rules of one bid per bidders for Project in the categories as listed below:
i. Lot 1 Construction of a block of two classrooms with an office (54Classes)
ii. Lot 2 Construction of VIP Toilets-(16 deliverables.)
iii. Lot 3 Safe Schools initiative in the following LGAs (Asa, Edu, Offa, Patigi, Ilorin South & Ilorin West LGA)
iv. Lot 4 Remodeling & Renovation of Classrooms (16 Locations)
v. Lot 5 Fabrication and Distribution of 2 Seater Pupils/Students Furniture-(1720 Units)
vi. Lot 6 Drilling of Solar Powered Borehole with Tank Stand (16 deliverables)
vii. Rehabilitation of Digital Literacy Centres in 18 locations across the State.
viii. Procurement of foundation literacy Teaching and learning materials for Primary One (67,657 Copies).
3. Qualifications/Requirements:
Interested contractors/suppliers should submit their company profile in addition to the following documents.
a) Certificate of incorporation with Corporate Affairs Commission,
b) Evidence of Registration/Renewal as Contractor with KWSUBEB,
c) Evidence of Registration/Renewal as Contractor with Kwara State Ministry of Works and Transport.
d) Evidence of Three (3) Years Current Company Tax Clearance i.e 2022, 2023 and 2024,
e) Evidence of Industrial Training Fund (ITF) Compliance Certificate valid till 31st December 2024.
f) Evidence of current Nigeria Social Insurance Trust Fund Compliance Certificate Valid till 31st December, 2024.
g) PENCOM Compliance Certificate valid till 31st December 2024
h) Evidence of registration on National Data base of Federal Contractor, Consultants and Service providers by submission of Interim Registration Report (IRR) expiring on 31st December, 2024.
i) Company audited account for the last 3 years i.e 2022, 2023\and 2024.
j) Variable documents evidence of at least 3 similar jobs executed in the last 3 years including letter of award,
evaluation certificate, job completion certificate and photograph of the projects
k) VAT registration and evidence of VAT remittance
l) Evidence of financial capability and bank supporting reference
m) Equipment and technology capacity with evidence of ownership or lease
n) Evidence of payment of appropriate non-refundable tender fee of N10,000.00 only.
SUBMISSION OF TENDER DOCUMENTS
2 copies of completed Tender documents in wax-sealed envelope marked Tender Documents under Lots………”written on the right corner of the sealed envelope must be delivered by hand before 12noon, on Thursday 2nd, October 2025 (6 weeks duration) from the date of advert) to Tender Secretary Kwara State Universal Basic Education Board (KWSUBEB) Lajorin Street P.M.B 1404, Ilorin Kwara State Nigeria.
Bid Opening
The tender documents will be opened in the presence of the bidders making submission or their representatives with
evidence of legal existence at Kwara State Universal Basic Education Board (KWSUBEB) premises at 12noon prompt, on Thursday 2nd October, 2025.
Important Notice
a. Contractors are advised to collect company profile format from the office of the Director, Physical Planning, Kwara SUBEB during office hours
b. The project directorate reserves the right to verify any claim by potentials bidders
c. Contractors are advised to collect tender documents from the office of Director, Physical Planning Kwara
SUBEB Headquarters, Ilorin
d. These advertisement of invitation to tender cannot be construed to mean the commitment on the part of the Board to award any form of contract to any company
e. Defaulting contractors with Kwara State Universal Basic Education Board (KWSUBEB) that are yet to
complete their project need not to tender.
