INVITATION TO TENDER FOR THE CONSTRUCTION OF STATE SPECIALIST HOSPITAL, WUKARI, TARABA STATE
1.0 INTRODUCTION
1.1 Taraba State Government through the Ministry of Health wishes to construct a State Specialist Hospital at Wukari, Taraba State, under the National competitive Bid (NCB).
1.2 In compliance with the Taraba State Public Procurement Law (TSPPL) 2012 and also having provided in the budget for the financial year 2025, the Ministerial Tenders Board hereby invites competent companies for the procurements as stated above.
2.0 ELIGIBILITY QUALIFICATION
a) Evidence of registration with Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC)
b) Tax clearance certificate for the last three years i.e. from 2022-2024
c) Evidence of compliance with Pension Act (PENCON)
d) Evidence of compliance with the Industrial Training Fund (ITF compliance certificate)
e) Evidence of registration with Taraba State Bureau Public Procurement (BPP).
f) Company’s audited account for the last three years i.e. from 2022-2024
g) Details of company’s profile
h) Evidence of Bank guarantee/Bid security
i) Court sworn affidavit indicating:
• That the company is not in receivership, insolvent or bankrupt.
• That the company does not have any Director who has ever been convicted in any court in Nigeria or other country for a criminal offense in relation to fraud or financial impropriety.
• Whether or not any officer of the Bureau of Public Procurement (BPP) or officer of the Taraba State Ministry of Health is a former or present Director, shareholder, or has any peculiar interest in the bidding.
• That all documents submitted for the bidding are true and correct in all particulars.
j) Evidence of previous works and done.
3.0 COLLECTION OF TENDER DOCUMENT
Interested bidders are advised to obtain bidding documents containing the detailed specification for the procurement according to Lots at the office of the Head of Procurement from 10:00 am to 3:00 pm at a non-refundable fee of one hundred and twenty thousand Naira (N120,000.00) only from 24th March 2025 to 5th May 2025, (Mondays to Fridays).
4.0 SUBMISSION OF BID
Bid must be prepared as Financial bid separately from the Technical bids; 4 Copies each; One marked Original and other three should be photocopy, each separately packaged in a sealed envelope clearly marked as Financial or Technical, then put together in a bigger envelope, name of the Lot tendered for and the name of your company on the reverse side of the envelopes. It should be noted that the total contract amount must be indicated in the forwarding letter “form 1” using the company’s letter-headed paper enclosed in Technical bid.
4.1 The envelope should be addressed to the Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Health, Jalingo, Taraba State.
5.0 SUBMISSION/CLOSING OF BID
The submission of bid and time for the closing of tenders is from 24th March to 5th May 2025 by 11:00 am and the bids open immediately after closing.
6.0 BID OPENING
The bid shall be opened **IMMEDIATELY** after closing by 11:00 am at **TACA Conference Hall, Taraba State Secretariat, off Hammaruwa way, Jalingo, Taraba State.**
7.0 Only firms whose technical bids fulfill the minimum requirements would have their financial bids considered.
7.1 All enquiries should be addressed to: The office of the Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Health, Jalingo, Taraba State.
