1. The Ondo State Water Corporation has received from the African Development Bank hereinafter called the Bank toward the cost of the Nigeria Urban Water Sector Reform and Akure Water Supply and Sanitation Project (NUWSRA/AWSSP), and intends to apply part of the proceeds toward payments under the Construction of Akure Water Distribution Network Project:
LOT 1: Construction of Main Conveyance Mains, Concrete Surface Reservoirs & Rehabilitation of Elevated Water Reservoir
– Supply and installation of 5.23km length transmission pipeline complete with necessary fittings, accessories,
– Construction of 2-units of 7,000m³ capacity each of RC circular surface water reservoir at Seebi Hill including installation of piping, valves, accessories.
– Rehabilitation of 1200m³ RC elevated water reservoir at Alagbaka.
– Construction of storage yard, access road, perimeter fence, office, security house, entrance gates, and few others.
LOT 2: Construction of Water Distribution Network in Sectors 1, 2, & 6
– Water Distribution Pipe Network in Sector 1, 2 & 6 covering 177km length of Pipe Network
– Construction of storage yards with fully installed facilities
LOT 3: Construction of Water Distribution Network in Sectors 3
– Supply and installation of water distribution pipe network in Sector 3 covering 166km length of Pipe Network.
– Construction of storage yards with fully installed facilities
LOT 4: Construction of Water Distribution Network in Sectors 5, 7 & 8
– Supply and installation of water distribution pipe network in Sector 5, 7 & 8 covering 205km length of Pipe Network
– Construction of storage yards with fully installed facilities
2. The Ondo State Water Corporation now invites sealed
Bids from eligible Bidders for the construction of water supply distribution networks in any of above Lots.
3. Bidding will be conducted through the Open Competitive Bidding (International), OCBI procedures as specified in the Bank’s Procurement Framework for Bank Group Funded Operations, and is open to all eligible bidders as defined in the procurement regulations and is open to all eligible Bidders as defined in the Procurement Framework.

5. The Bidding document in English may be purchased by interested eligible Bidders upon the submission of a written application to the address below and upon payment of a nonrefundable fee of 200 USD or 320,000 NGN. The method of payment will be by Bank Draft/Cashier’s cheque. The document will be sent by airmail for overseas delivery and surface mail or courier for local delivery.
6. Bids must be delivered to the address below on or before 12 Noon, August 7, 2025. Electronic Bidding will not be permitted. Late Bids will be rejected. Bids will be publicly opened in the presence of the Bidders’ designated representatives and anyone who chooses to attend at the address below on 12:30pm, August 7, 2025.
7. All Bids must be accompanied by a “Bid Security” of the amount and currency of the Bid Security shall be 2.5% of the bid amount and may be in Naira or the equivalent in Naira at the exchange rate of the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) on the date of publication of the Tender Document.
