1. The Federal Government of Nigeria (FGN) has secured a facility from the African Development Bank (the Bank) to implement a five-year Special Agro-Industrial Processing Zones (SAPZ) Program in partnership with the State Governments and Private Investors in five (5) participating states of Kaduna, Oyo, Ogun, Cross River and Imo States in the first phase and intends to apply part of the agreed amount to finance payments under the contract for the engagement of a Consulting Firm for the Implementation of the Profiling of Agribusiness Enterprises and Farmers, Including Geo Mapping and Biometric Data Collection in Oyo State.
2. The objective of the consultancy is to review the existing State agric-sector database; identify, profile, and geomap farms and gain insight into the present state and structure of agribusinesses and ecosystems across diverse value chains in Oyo State. The Consulting Firm will work with Project Implementation Unit (PIU) and other stakeholders. Please refer to the Terms of Reference (TOR) for additional information on this Consultancy assignment.
3. The Oyo State Special Agro-Industrial Processing Zones (SAPZ) Program, through its State Project Implementation Unit (SPIU), hereby invites qualified and eligible consultants to express their interest in undertaking this role. Interested Consulting Firms must provide information indicating that they are qualified to perform the services (certification (s), experience in similar assignments and conditions etc.).
4. Qualified Consulting Firms may obtain further information at the address below during the office hours of 08:00am and 04:00pm (Local time; Mondays–Fridays)
5. Eligibility criteria, establishment of the shortlist and selection procedure shall be in accordance with the Procurement Policy for the Bank Group Funded operation (October 2015), which is available on the Banks website at https://www.afdb.org/en/projects-and-operations/procurement/new-procurement-policy Only shortlisted candidates will be contacted.
