The Federal Government of Nigeria through the Federal Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development has received financing from the World Bank toward the cost of the Rural Access and Agricultural Marketing Project (RAAMP) and intends to apply part of the proceeds toward payments under the contract for Physical Improvement of 3 Nos. Agro Logistics Centers in Kastina State. This contract will be jointly financed by the L’Agence Francaise de Development (French Development Agency or AFD). Procurement process will be governed by the World Bank’s Procurement Regulations.

  1. The project involves livestock market (cattle and small ruminants), isolation/treatment area, animal feeds market, parking area, administrative block, toilets, open sheds, loading ramps, animal feeding and water troughs, refuse dump, gate house, Grains Market, Motor Park, solar borehole and overhead tank, electrical and mechanical works as well as strict undertaking of Social and Environmental Safeguard.
  2. Bidding will be conducted through Competitive procurement method using Request for Bids (RFB) document as specified in the World Bank’s “Procurement Regulations for IPF Borrowers- Procurement in Investment Projects Financing” November, 2020- Fourth Edition (“Procurement Regulations”), and is open to all eligible Bidders as defined in the Procurement Regulations.
  3.   1. Bids must be delivered to the address below on or before 12:00noon on Thursday 13th March, Electronic Bidding will NOT be permitted. Late Bids will be rejected. Bids will be publicly opened in the presence of the Bidders’ designated representatives and anyone who chooses to attend at the address below on Thursday 13th March, 2025. by 12.noon.
