The Embassy of the UNITED STATES OF AMERICA, ABUJA will conduct an Online Auction sale of used Furniture, IT equipment/supplies, and other miscellaneous items as follows:

| Registration: | Register on the online auction site and you will be notified whenever there is an online sale scheduled. Registration is Free. |
| Viewing & Bidding Dates: | Viewing and bidding on items will be online only during the auction period (13th to 17th May, 2026). Multiple bids during this time are allowed and encouraged. Keep track of the items you bid on.
NOTE: DO NOT bid for items you do not intend to pay for, or you may be barred from our future auctions! |
| Payment: | Winning bidders will be notified via email shortly after the auction is closed. A link will direct bidders to the auction website for winning lot(s) information, how to pay, where and when to pick up your property. Please bring your proof of payment on pick up day. |
Auction Guidelines:
- Winning bidders will be notified via email shortly after the bidding process closes.
- Payments shall be made by electronic transfer to the Embassy bank account provided to the winning bidder via automated email. Payment should be made for the total amount due for all winning bids. The bank payment receipt must be sent to AbujaAuctions@state.gov for confirmation immediately after payment.
- Payment must be received in the Embassy bank account within 3 working days after receiving winning notification. Failure to do this shall lead to forfeiture of the lot and being barred from future auctions.
- All items are sold “as is” with no declaration made of serviceability. There will be no returns or refunds after payments are finalized.
- All successful bidders are responsible for the payment of all related Nigerian customs duty.
- Proper Identification ID must be presented at pick-up site with all proof of payments.
- Full auction terms and conditions will be available on the online auction site using the “How it Works” link.
