INVITATION FOR BID
1. The Yobe State Ministry of Agriculture and Natural Resources has created an enabling environment for eligible interested bidders/vendors to submit tenders for:
INPUTS REQUIRED FOR AGRICULTURAL REVITALIZATION IN YOBE STATE
| Lot I | Supply of Mersey Ferguson (MF 375) 75HP Tractors |
| Lot II | Supply of NPK 20-10-10 Fertilizer |
| Lot III | Supply of small ruminants (Goats) |
| Lot IV | Supply of improved varieties of Assorted Seeds and Seedlings |
| Lot V | Supply of assorted Agro Chemicals |
| Lot VI | Supply of brand new double cabin Toyota Hilux 4×4 |
| Lot VII | Supply of brand new motorcycles (boxer BM125) |
| Lot VIII | Supply of solar power water pumps with panels |
| Lot IX | Supply of Agricultural equipment
i. Hand-Push planters ii. Plough machines iii. Mini Tiller machines iv. Multipurpose Thresher v. Fertilizer spreaders |
| Lot X | Renovation and construction work at Zonal ADP Office Buni Yadi, Gujba LGA |
| Lot XI | Training of extension staff (FNT, MTRM and others0 |
2. The entity hereby invites sealed bids from eligible interested bidders/vendors for the execution of the above described project;
3. To qualify for consideration, interested companies/bidders are required to respond to this invitation with the following documents for consideration. Failure to submit any of the under-listed documents may lead to disqualification.
i. Evidence of Certificate of Incorporation with Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC) of Nigeria;
ii. Company Income Tax Clearance Certificate (TCC) for the last three (3) years (2021, 2022 & 2023);
iii. Company Audited accounts for three (3) years (2021, 2022 & 2023);
iv. Company’s profile
v. Evidence of Financial Capability including Bank reference letter indicating willingness to provide credit facility if/when necessary and needed.
vi. Evidence of registration with Yobe State Bureau on Public Procurement.
4. Bidding will be conducted through National competitive bidding procedures as specified in the Yobe State Bureau on Public procurement’s guidelines (procurement of goods, works and related services) and is open to all eligible bidders as defined in the procurement guidelines.
5. Interested eligible bidders/vendors may obtain further information from the office of the director of Planning, Research and Statistics, Ministry of Agricultural and Natural Resources, Damaturu, Yobe State and collect bidding documents during office hours (0900 to 1500hours).
6. A complete set of bidding documents may be purchased by interested eligible bidders/vendors upon payment of non-refundable fee of Fifty Thousand Naira Only (N50, 000.00)
7. Bids must be delivered to the office of the Director Planning Research and statistics, Ministry of Agricultural and Natural Resources, Damaturu, Yobe State on or before 1st April, 2024.
8. Bids will be publicly opened in the presence of the vendors/bidder’s designated representatives at the Conference Hall of the Ministry by 12:00 noon on Monday 1st April, 2024.
Note: The advertisement of expression of interest shall not be construed as a commitment by Yobe State Government, nor shall it entitle respondents to claim any indemnity from Yobe State Government, by virtue of having responded to this advertisement, this is a simple invitation for you to express your interest in the indicated work.
